Decent people should ignore politics, if only they could be confident that politics would ignore them

About This Quote

I think this quote is about the importance of keeping your opinions to yourself. If you’re decent, don’t express your opinions because you’re sure that every opinion you have will be pointed out to be wrong. If you’re decent, don’t say anything because you’re sure that everyone will hate what you have to say. But, if you’re decent, don’t express your opinions because you’re sure that politics won’t care about how others choose to live their lives.
